London

There is no second like London. With a population of about 7.5 million, London, the capital of conservative England, demonstrates an overwhelming diversity of religious, ethnic, linguistic and national varieties. It is the most populous municipality in the EU. The huge city has today 5 international airports and is the most visited European city.

Few would say it is beautiful, but even fewer could escape its absolute magic. Stunning, mystic, intriguing, it is an imposing mixture of old and modern proudly set on the banks of the river Thames. First established by the Romans, the city has always been a key center of culture, politics and economy. Center of the monarchy and state institutions, it is home today of the royal residence - the Buckingham Palace, the seat of the Government on Dawning Street, etc. Historic sites remind the times when Dickens described it - the emblematic clock Big Ben, the fascinating Tower Bridge on the Thames, the Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square. The red double-deckers pass along the streets and people from all over the world speak about absolutely anything in Hyde Park. With its rainy weather and green parks, London is a landscape of freshness and majesty observed by the London Eye.

Today the city evolved without losing its ancient mystics. It is one of the busiest world business and finance centers, distinguished among the three "cities of command" together with Tokyo and New York. It has the reputation of one of the best places for education in the world. London has also another vocation of the "club music capital" of Europe. It produces some of the most interesting bands and performance artists, also giving them the exclusive stages of London fantastic clubs.
